Packing Tips for International Camp
Your child will be very excited to head off to camp. To sum up, it’s in your best interest to help him/her pack. Although he/she may be able to do this on his/her own, we suggest you oversee the packing.
- Packing list
Create a camp packing list using the recommended list from the camp. However include other necessary items that your child may need, i.e. his/her medication. - Label
Label all of your child’s items with his/her name.
Pocket Money for the international camp
Upon arrival, students may deposit their pocket money in the camp safe box. They can take their money as needed.
Spending money is generally used for the purchase of souvenirs and small purchases in the town shops. In other words, it includes postcards, postage stamps, batteries, candies, etc.
It is recommended that each student bring about 50 Euros of spending money per week.
Finally before departure, any unspent money will be returned directly to the student.
Each child has different needs and they don’t spend the same amount during the camp.
In other words, everything is included in the price so they only need pocket money for shopping.
Travel Arrangements for international camp
Thousands of kids and teenagers go on holiday without their parents every year and they have a great – and perfectly safe – time.
Parents should use common sense and take a few basic precautions when making travel arrangements specialy when their children are flying alone.
